Christy grew up inspired by her Dad — the neighborhood's go-to BBQ man who made every recipe his own. She took that same spirit, started making her own dishes from scratch, and earned the name Mama Christy from every kid on the block.
Her own children told her she should open a restaurant. She listened — started making dinners, taking orders, and delivering. In 2012, she launched the Smokehouse Triple Stack, and Metro Detroit hasn't looked back since.
